AML-CFT Specialist

Job Description:

Telcell invites a specialist with work experience in the financial-banking sector to fill the position of AML-CFT specialist.

Job responsibilities

• Conduct proper analysis of business relationships/transactions.
• Approve/suspend, freeze, and monitor business relationships/transactions.
• Perform analyses to detect suspicious transactions/business relationships,
• Prepare and submit reports on suspicious transactions/business relationships.
• Conduct customer risk classification/evaluation processes.
• Assist in the development of training materials and questionnaires related to the fight against money laundering (AML)/terrorism financing (CFT) and other related activities.
• Conduct internal training and professional development sessions in the field of AML/CFT according to the laws of the Republic of Armenia and the Company’s internal regulations.
• Review/develop internal legal acts related to AML/CFT as needed.
• Provide consultations to company employees on AML/CFT matters.
• Import and regularly update sanction lists in the system.
• Submit reports on performed work.
• Analyze and monitor information received from various departments of the organization.

Required qualifications

• Higher education in finance/banking or economics.
• At least one year of work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience working with complex databases will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of legal acts regulating the AML/CFT field and Central Bank regulations.
• Proficiency in Armenian, Russian, and English languages.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks on time and with proper quality.
• Ability to work under pressure in stressful situations.
