Job description:

Lead Telcell’s strategic marketing direction by ensuring the company’s long-term competitive positioning, developing and executing strategies based on in-depth market analysis, and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams.


Job responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and implement the company’s global marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities.
  • Coordinate brand, product, and advertising strategies to ensure consistent market positioning.
  • Ensure strategies are adapted to market changes and the competitive environment.

2. Cross-functional Project Management

  • Lead major strategic projects involving product, digital, sales, IT, and PR teams.
  • Define OKRs/KPIs for strategic projects and monitor their implementation.
  • Manage event marketing projects to ensure brand alignment and effective organization.

3. Market and Consumer Analysis

  • Make data-driven strategic decisions using analytical tools.
  • Conduct regular research on the market, competitors, and customer behavior.
  • Develop mechanisms to integrate customer needs, feedback, and expectations into the strategy development and implementation processes.

4. Team Management and Development

  • Build and develop the strategic marketing team by ensuring clear role distribution, growth planning, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with other departments of the company.

5. Collaboration with the Digital Division

  • Coordinate the implementation of innovative projects with the digital marketing team, including gamification, AI, chatbots, experimentation with new channels, and selection and application of other MarTech solutions.

6. Development of Strategic Partnerships and External Relations

  • Initiate and develop strategic partnerships with external organizations, platforms, and brands.
  • Represent the interests of the marketing department in external collaborations and inter-organizational initiatives.

7. Reporting and Management Presentation

  • Present the progress and results of strategic projects to senior management.
  • Prepare data-driven proposals and reports.
Required qualifications

  • Higher education in marketing, economics, or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategic marketing leadership role, preferably in the technology or financial sectors.
  • Experience in digital marketing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of market analysis, MarTech tools, and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Excellent proficiency in Armenian and Russian.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strategic and critical thinking.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
