Job Description:
As a Data Analyst/Product Analyst at Telcell, you will play a key role in shaping data-driven product strategies and decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, customer experience, and product teams, to analyze user behaviour, develop actionable insights, and track performance metrics across multiple product lines. Your expertise in data analysis will support our product development, optimization, and growth efforts, ultimately driving product improvements and maximising business impact.
Job responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to prepare for reporting and analysis.
- Support and monitor existing metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop new key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business and product goals.
- Create data visualizations and reports that effectively communicate insights to business and product teams, ensuring they are actionable and easily understood.
- Analyze user behavior data to identify opportunities for product growth, detect limitations, and propose optimizations.
- Investigate and explain anomalies or sudden changes in user behavior or other key indicators, providing data-backed recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to define data needs and KPIs.
- Generate hypotheses, conduct research, and present findings in a compelling and clear manner, emphasizing the significance of insights and how they can drive business decisions.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-driven role.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with the ability to manipulate and query large datasets efficiently.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create actionable insights and reports.
- Strong quantitative skills, with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving and data analysis.
- Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve product performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to convey complex data insights in an understandable way.
Preferred
qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working in fintech or tech companies and understanding of the associated data and analytics needs.
