Product Manager (Money Transfers)

Job description: 

We are looking for a Product Manager – Money Transfers to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our money transfer products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, identifying market opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions that provide a seamless, secure, and customer-centric money transfer experience.

You will work closely with Engineering, Business, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery and growth of our money transfer ecosystem.

Job responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for domestic and international money transfer services.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and planning to launch and continuous optimization.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer discovery to identify new product opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and customer needs.
• Create and manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Compliance, Risk, AML, Operations, and Marketing.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and analytics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Manage integrations with banks, payment providers, card schemes, remittance networks, and other financial partners.
• Support product launches by working with internal stakeholders on go-to-market activities.
• Define pricing, customer value proposition, and product positioning where applicable.
• Stay up to date with fintech trends, payment innovations, and emerging technologies.

Required qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in the fintech, banking, or payments industry.
• Strong understanding of money transfer products, payment systems, and digital financial services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to define business requirements and translate them into product features.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Armenian and Russian.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, Visa Direct, Mastercard Send, or similar payment rails.
• Understanding of AML, KYC, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and financial compliance.
• Experience working with mobile financial applications or digital banking platforms.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
