Information security specialist

Job Description:

Telcell is hiring an Information Security Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the security of the company’s information systems, assessing and mitigating risks, and implementing and maintaining security policies.

Job responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and monitor the organization’s information security policies,
• Prevent, monitor, and respond promptly to cyberattacks,
• Implement and oversee data protection measures,
• Ensure security policies comply with international standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS),
• Manage access control systems,
• Investigate security breaches, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies,
• Conduct employee training programs on information security,
• Prepare reports on security incidents,
• Deploy and manage antivirus software, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems,

Required qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in configuring and managing Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems,
• Proficiency in analyzing basic and advanced attacks (penetration testing, ethical hacking),
• Understanding of data encryption and protective methods,
• Ability to secure server and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Security),
• Deep knowledge of information security standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST),
• Familiarity with monitoring and inspection tools (Wireshark, Zabbix),
• Expertise in operating system security (Windows, Linux, macOS),
• Knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10, Secure SDLC),
• Experience managing SIEM systems (Splunk, ELK, QRadar),
• Ability to write scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell),
• Strong analytical thinking,
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
