Rules for using the ticket carrier (transport card).

Yerevan’s unified ticketing system accepts the following 5 payment methods:

• Telcell Wallet app
• unified transport card
• ticket purchased from a Telcell Terminal and transferred to any identified or unidentified Telcell Wallet account
• printed ticket purchased from a Telcell Terminal (for airport-to-Yerevan trips only)
• bank card

You can obtain the ticket or transport card from any Telcell branch. The full list is presented above.

Alternatively, the amount paid can be transferred and used for another service.

A unified transport card can be purchased from Telcell branches operating in Yerevan, from terminals located in metro stations, from metro ticket offices, and from terminals next to the Yerevan Municipality iCentre information centers.

The following 4 groups are eligible for discounted fares on Yerevan public transport tickets:

• STUDENTS
  Students enrolled in vocational schools, colleges and higher education institutions in Yerevan receive a 15% discount.
• SCHOOL STUDENTS (ages 8-17)
  Students attending public and high schools in Yerevan receive a 20% discount.
• SOCIAL ASSISTANCE BENEFICIARIES
  Individuals registered in any community of Armenia receive a 20% discount.
• PENSIONERS (aged 63 and above)
  Individuals registered in any community of Armenia receive a 30% discount.

The following groups are eligible for free travel on Yerevan public transport:

• children aged 7 and under,
• individuals under state care residing in nursing homes and orphanages,
• individuals with profound or severe functional limitations and persons with Group I or Group II disabilities,
• all citizens of Armenia with Group III disability resulting from military service,
• parents registered in Yerevan with 4 or more minor children (from March 1, the age limit for children is removed),
• parents with 5 or more children (throughout Armenia),
• orphaned school and university students registered in Yerevan,
• family members (widows/widowers, minor children, and parents) of persons who were killed, went missing, were declared missing, or were declared deceased during military operations in Artsakh or in defense of the Republic of Armenia, or while performing official duties,
• recipients of the title Hero of the Soviet Union,
• victims of political repression,
• recipients of the title Hero of Socialist Labor,
• recipients of the title National Hero of Armenia,
• persons awarded the 1st or 2nd Degree Combat Cross, as well as all three classes of the Order of Glory,
• persons awarded USSR orders and medals for selfless labor on the home front during the Great Patriotic War,
• honorary citizens of Yerevan

Rules for using the ticket carrier (transport card).

The Yerevan Council of Elders has established 9 public transport fare options.

Single Ride

Valid for one trip. The ticket must be activated within 3 days of purchase. Price: 150 AMD.

10-Ride Ticket Pack

Allows 10 trips within 45 days. The ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Price: 1500 AMD.

180 Minutes

Can be used within 180 minutes and allows travel on up to 3 vehicles. The ticket must be activated within 10 days of purchase. Price: 300 AMD, 280 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

1 Day

Allows up to 8 trips within 24 hours. From March 1, trips become unlimited. The ticket must be activated within 10 days of purchase. Price: 900 AMD, 880 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

1 Week

Allows unlimited travel for 7 days. The ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Price: 5000 AMD, 4800 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

1 Month

Allows unlimited rides for 30 days. The ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Price: 9000 AMD, 8800 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

3 Months

Allows unlimited rides for 90 days. The ticket must be activated within

30 days of purchase. Price: 24,000 AMD, 23,600 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app

1 Year

Allows unlimited travel for 365 days. The ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Price: 90,000 AMD, 88,000 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

Airport

Valid for one trip between Zvartnots Airport and Yerevan city center, in either direction. The ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Price: 500 AMD, 480 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.
