History

2007

CB License

By the decision of the Board of the Central Bank of RA, "Tel-Cell" CJSC was granted a license to carry out money transfers, processing and clearing of payment instruments and settlement documents.

Telcell Terminal

The first terminal in RA was installed and a payment was made using the first Telcell Terminal. The network continues to grow to this day, having surpassed the 4500+ mark.

2011

Telcell Branch

The first branch was opened, which receives users every day and provides them with various services.

2017

Telcell Wallet

Telcell Wallet was launched - an application for payments.

2019

BON by Telcell

The BON Market was created, where users began to collect BON bonus points from payments and exchange them for various products.

2020

Telcell Business

The Telcell Business application was created, offering solutions not only for ordinary users, but also for businesses.

2022

Opening a bank account

An opportunity was created to open bank accounts in Armeconombank and Evocabank in Telcell Wallet.

2023

Unified transport ticket system

Telcell has joined public transport reforms by investing in the unified ticketing system project and providing modern payment solutions.

Co-branded Visa card

Telcell's co-branded digital Visa card was created - in cooperation with Armeconombank.

Telcell rebranding

Telcell rebranded itself, promising to become fresher and more innovative.

2024

PartPay

The PartPay service (Buy Now, Pay Later) was launched, allowing Telcell Wallet users to make purchases now and pay for them within 3 months.

Telcell is now OJSC

Telcell became an open joint-stock company, offering its shares for public sale for the first time.
